Sydney Water has a Rainwater Tank Rebate Program offering customers up to $800 to install a rainwater tank.
A special 'Rainwater Tanks in Schools' Rebate Program is also available for schools.
To qualify for the rebate, the rainwater tank must be both:
* a new tank with a capacity of 2,000 litres or more
* purchased on or after 20 October 2002.
This offer ends 31 July 2008.

Rainwater Tank Rebates for Schools
Sydney Water is offering a rebate of up to $2,500 to schools who install a rainwater tank. The rebate is available to all primary and secondary schools, public1 and private in the Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountain regions connected to a Sydney Water main.
Each school is eligible for the rebate on the cost of purchasing and installing a rainwater tank.
